별| Stars

I wrote this poem while I worked at a small biotech company. We/whole company/our team had a dream, but we did not reach it. ^.^😂😀. However, it was a good and even beautiful moment for us to see a star all together in one boat.

밤하늘의 별을 봐
볼수는 있지만 닿을 수는 없는 것
그것이 너의 목표야
 
영원히 닿을수 없다해도
볼수 있다면
세울수 있다면
 
널 지탱할수 있다면
그걸로 족해
 
길을 잃으면
별을 봐
 
나이는 필요없어
다시 일어서
 
목표를 세우고
멀리봐
밤하늘의 별을 봐
볼수는 있지만 닿을 수는 없는 것
이것이 너의 길이야
 
살아가는데는
영원히 닿을수 없는 꿈이 필요해
Look at the stars in the night sky
We can see them but we can't reach them easily. That's our goal

Even if we can never reach them
If we can see them and set them

If starts can support us
That's enough

If we get lost
Look at the stars

Age doesn't matter
Get up again

Set the goal
Look far
Look at the stars in the night sky
We can see them but we can't reach them easily. This is our path

We need a dream that can never be reached to live

Mine, Sep 15 2020

I did as I thought.
The only thing I own is my thoughts, my body and my time.

Now I know.
Even my thoughts and my time
are not mine

I have nothing

We are just guests who come and go

내것
난 내 생각대로 움직였지.
내가 오로지 소유한 것은 내 생각 내 몸 내 시간.
 
이젠 알어.
내 생각 내 시간 나마져도
내것이 아니란걸
 
내건 없어
 
우린 그저 왔다 가는 손님

Erased Time

April 10-2020

Even if I don't erase it, it will be erased.
Just like a hard drive breaks down

Things that aren't my time will disappear like that.

What does the sky want?

지워진 시간

예써 지우지 않아도 지워진다.
하드가  망가지듯
 
내 시간이 아닌것들은 그렇게 사라지나보다.
 
하늘이 원하는건 무얼까

Pymol

There are molecules that we can not see with our naked eyes. Protein is one of them.

You may see some proteins using PyMOL on your computer.

You could install free PyMOL in your terminal using brew:

Brew install pymol

Now, to see any protein there, use fetch command:

fetch 9DYH

You could get PDBIDs and more information from here: RCSB.

This is another useful command to arrange all PDBs in order: alignto 

alignto PDBID (eg 9DW7), object=all_to_PDBID (eg 9DW7)

You could start learning about protein structure by digging more websites. 🤞

Color

At the place where colors are strong, 
there is one which color is light and shallow.

At the place where there are strong opinions,
there is one which has no opinions

Strangely 

My heart dwells with light colors at the place where colors are strong,
and dwells with no claims at the place wehre there are strong opinions.

자기 주장 많은 곳에
자기 주장 없는 이가 있다
 
이상하게도
 
색이 진한 그곳에 흐림이
주장 많은곳에 없음이
내 마음 머문다

Pray before the choices

As I get older,
I hesitate more
when I face with choices

I pray that:
my choices lead to the right path
and the best

for me and my family
I pray every moment that :
I make the right choices at every moment
