   셀 수 없는 사람들이 발악한다

   심지어, 
   정년을 이미 벗어나 버린
   나도 주책스럽게 노력 중이다

   그대를 얻으려
   피처럼 소중한 시간을 흩뿌리고
   갓난아기만큼 귀하디귀한 종유석도 투입한다

   그래도 그대는 
   칡뿌리 같은 고집으로
   여전히 내겐 흩어지는 바람이다
Even at this moment
Countless people are struggling to win you

Even,
I, who have already passed the retirement age, am trying desperately
...to win you

I spend my precious time like blood and
invest stalactites as precious as a newborn

Still,
With stubbornness like kudzu root

   교육 받게 해 주고
   친구들과 얘기하게 해 준다

   정을 나누게 해 주고
   생동감 있게 해 주며
   영혼을 표출하게 해 준다

   한마디로,
   내 뜻을 가장 잘 따라 준다
   Computer

   Let me listen to the music
   Let me watch dramas

   Let me get an education
   Lets me talk to friends

   Let me share my affection
   Let me lively
   Let me express myself

   In short,
   Computer follows my will the best

The word “elegance”
comes to mind

Mom’s appearance is elegant
and her heart is also elegant

She is warm and cozy 
like an Ondol room

She is old and sick now, however,

she always tries to keep her and her surroundings clean
and not to harm others
   엄마

   단아(端雅)함이란 
   단어가 저절로 떠오른다
   
   곁 모습이 단아하다고
   마음도 단아해 보이지만

   마음은 온돌방처럼
   따스하고 아득하다

   비록, 지금은
   늙고 병이 깊지만

   주위를 깨끗히 하고
   남에게 피해를 안 주려 노력하신다

   January 1st, 00:00!
   although the new year has arrived,
   dawn light is still far away

   In the dark,
   I wander around looking for the light
   I can't even see the faint light

   However, 5 to 6 hours 
   If I wait, the new year will come dazzlingly every day.

   새해가 밝았다지만
   여명(黎明)은 아직 멀었다

   어둠 속에서
   빛을 찾아 헤매지만
   아스라한 빛도 볼 수 없다

What did make me explode:
Flame like red blood from snow like beard ?

Buddha? Jesus? 
Muhammad? Marx? 
What took dreams away from peoples? 

it's science or cutting-edge tech armored humans!

   무엇이 죽였을까?

   뭐가 눈 같은 수염에 
   불꽃처럼 붉은 피를 
   용솟음치게 만들었을까?

   부처? 예수?
   마호멧? 마르크스?
   사람들에게서 꿈을 빼앗아 간나?

   그것은 바로 과학
   즉, 첨단을 나는 인간들!

The first snow falls freely like white butterflies

Flowers begin to bloom on the branches
The buds of flowers quickly change to plates

Oh, oh... Bam!
Swoosh, swish! Oh!
Squeak, squeak! Bam!
 첫눈이 흰나비처럼 자유낙하 한다
 나뭇가지에서는 꽃이 피기 시작한다
 꽃들은 봉우리에서 접시로 금방 변한다

 어, 어... 꽝당!
 쓱 쓰~윽!
 끽 끼~익! 쾅!

   On an early autumn day
   A chestnut was thrown
   into the dark shadows. 

   Under the sunlight and moonlight
   Making a key out of the inner shells of the egg 
   When it gets out of the thorns
   It was abandoned.
   
   With countless thorns 
   imprisoning three great scholars
   there was the chestnut in the dark shadows
   설익은 가을 날
   밤송인 어둑어둑한 
   그늘로 내동댕이쳐졌다

   햇볕과 달빛을 받으며
   보늬로 열쇠를 만들어
   가시를 헤치고 나오려는
   순간, 밤들은 버려졌다
   
   무수히 많은 가시로 
   三政丞을 가두고 있는
   어두운 그늘 속 밤송이

*  밤은 맛과 영양이 매우 좋아, 한 밤송이에 세 개의 밤알들을 우의정, 좌의정, 영의정이라 해서 삼정승이라고도 함.
** 보늬 : 밤알의 속껍질.
