언제나처럼 모노레일은
정상을 향해 힘겹게 오른다

뱀같이 꿈틀대며
안간힘을 써서 올라간다

모노레일은 산들바람이
부는 정상에 어서 오르고 싶다

모노레일은 홀로
묵묵히 오르는 길에 지쳐 있다

만나지 못해도
동행과 함께 가는 기찻길이 부럽다

As always,

the monorail struggles

to climb toward the summit.

Wriggling like a snake,

it strains with all its might

to make its way uphill.

It longs to reach the summit,

where a gentle breeze is blowing.

The monorail grows weary

of the solitary path

it climbs in silence.

Even if they never meet,

it envies the railway tracks

where trains travel

alongside one another.
